Dear Claremont Unified School District Families,

We are pleased to share that all air quality monitors in and around Claremont are currently reading "Good," and the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is projecting that air quality will remain "Good" tomorrow, Monday, January 13, 2025.

With this improvement, we plan to resume all outdoor activities tomorrow, including PE, recess, lunch, and after-school sports. We are confident that conditions are safe for students to enjoy outdoor activities.

Our Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations (FMO) team has been working diligently to ensure our campuses are clean and safe for students. Please know that we will continue monitoring conditions closely and provide updates as needed.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we continue to monitor conditions and prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Please know that we will monitor air quality throughout the day tomorrow. If conditions worsen, we will assess and adjust outdoor operations as needed. Thank you for your partnership, and we look forward to seeing your children back at school tomorrow for a safe and productive day of learning.
