CHS Girls’ Basketball Makes It Three in a Row!

The Claremont High School Girls’ Basketball team clinched its third consecutive league championship with a hard-fought 42–38 victory over Diamond Bar High School. Led by Interim Head Coach Gentry Robertson, the Wolfpack battled through intense play on both ends of the court. This time, the win secures the league title outright—an achievement they previously shared with other teams in the past two seasons.

“It feels good, honestly,” Coach Robertson said. “It’s all about the girls—they’ve worked their tails off, and it shows. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel; we’re just building on the foundation they’ve already created and letting their hard work shine.” Under Robertson’s guidance, the team remains energized and focused, setting their sights on making a deep run in the CIF playoffs.

Senior captain Jessica Lopez expressed how meaningful this achievement is to the players, both on and off the court. “I feel proud and excited,” she said. “When I was a freshman, I dreamed of making history, and to do it three times in a row is incredible. Basketball is more than just a sport—these girls are my family, and I can’t wait to see how far we can go in CIF.”
