Student Board
Student board members enable governance teams to incorporate student voices in their district responsibilities, elevating student perspectives on education policy decisions that they may not have otherwise considered. Any student who is elected to serve as a member of the CUSD governing board must be enrolled in a high school of the school district and be chosen by the pupils enrolled in that high school. Annually, the CUSD Board appoints one student from Claremont High School and one from San Antonio High School to function as representatives of their respective schools. They are eligible to serve a full-year term and may cast advisory votes on all matters except those subject to closed-session discussion.
