Welcome to the Claremont Unified School District Child Development Preschool Program!

The State Preschool program is a three-hour program that serves eligible three- and four-year-old children. Teachers use The Creative Curriculum from Teaching Strategies, a research -based, whole child curriculum that balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. 

The preschools are licensed by the State of California, Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, Child Care Division and are located on the campuses of Sumner/Danbury and Mountain View Elementary Schools. 

Classes are offered in the morning and/or afternoon.  Preschools follow the CUSD school calendar.  For more information, contact the Child Development Department at (909) 398-0373.
