Kathy Archer
Kathy Archer has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne. She also holds a lifetime single-subject CLAD (Crosscultural Language and Academic Development) teaching credential from the State of California. A longtime proponent of and advocate for public education, Kathy served on the steering committee for the successful Measure G bond campaign in 2016 to renew and refresh the infrastructure of CUSD facilities. Kathy has also served on the board of the Claremont Educational Foundation and Claremont Wolfpack Swim Boosters.
Kathy works at Charter Oak High School in Covina where she has been a social studies teacher and program coordinator since 1998. She teaches both International Baccalaureate History of the Americas and Honors World History. She is the coordinator for the International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs.
Kathy and her husband, Bill, have a daughter who has grown up in Claremont schools and recently graduated from Claremont High School.
