Cheryl Fiello
For nearly two decades, Cheryl Fiello proudly served the Claremont Unified School District as both a teacher and an administrator. At Claremont High School, she taught chemistry and biology, striving to ignite curiosity and inspire a love of science in every student. Later, she served as a district administrator overseeing technology initiatives, standards implementation, and teacher professional development. Her innovative approaches to transform teaching and learning earned her prestigious international distinction as an Apple Distinguished Educator, and her work was pivotal in the recognition of three Apple Distinguished Schools within CUSD.
Driven by her roots and commitment to family, Cheryl returned to her family-owned and operated dairy processing facility, where she is now the Quality Assurance Manager, managing the business and overseeing all aspects of food safety and quality and regulatory compliance.
As an active parent and community member, Cheryl served as the Chaparral Elementary School Site Council Chair, aligning strategies and resources to support teaching and learning. She served as a board member of the Claremont Educational Foundation to support and enrich public education in Claremont and the Dairy Council of California to promote dairy education and healthy nutrition choices for children across California.
Cheryl holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University, as well as numerous educational credentials and certificates.
Cheryl and her husband, Nicholas, have two daughters attending Claremont schools and love to spend their spare time snowboarding and exploring the Eastern Sierra.
